If the coolant temperature is too high, a warning light (A) comes on. Additionally, a warning is displayed in the on-board computer. If the coolant level is too low, the warning light flashes. Additionally, a warning is displayed in the on-board computer.

Pull off the road, turn off the engine and allow to cool.
Check radiator and air passages in front end of car for obstructions.
Check coolant level. If necessary, add coolant and have fault remedied at an authorized Porsche dealer.

The new 718 Cayman debut . . .

Details of the third generation Cayman were announced today (April 24th) by Porsche. It seems like just yesterday that we were discussing the first Cayman generation and were waiting for its official sell date. There's going to be a lot to learn and discuss about the newest addition to the mid engine line up. Join in the discussion here.

OK, stop rubbing your eyes. You read that right. You guys have been asking for these for years and we've finally broken down and ordered Cayman Register Car Badges.

Back in the beginning, there was discussion about a plastic car badge. Different sizes have been discussed too. We have decided to go for a high quality 4" Metal Car Badge, with raised details, nickel plated and high polished with hard high gloss enamel inlays. These things are going to be really nice.

I remember back in 2006 when the Cayman had just come out. While there was genuine excitement about the new model, there were many more critics eager to criticize it. Even the fans of the car were asking "what if". What if it had 100 more horsepower? What if it had a limited slip differential? What if Porsche let the mid engine car be all it could be?
