The original equipment tires on your Porsche have built-in tire wear indicators. They are molded into the bottom of the tread grooves and will appear as approximately 1/2 in. (12 mm) bands when the tire tread depth is down to 1/16 of an in. (1.6 mm). When the indicators appear in two or more adjacent grooves, it is time to replace the tires. We recommend, however, that you do not let the tires wear down to this extent. Worn tires cannot grip the road surface properly and are even less effective on wet roads.

Welcome to the New PCA Cayman Register . . . !
So what's a 'Cayman Register' you ask? Well, the idea of vehicle registers was formed a long time ago. Long before the internet and cyber networks of today, owners of unique automobiles would form register groups. These registers centered around a printed list of vehicles, their owners and contact information. These lists were shared among members so they could stay in touch, plan get togethers, meetings and social events. Through these registers auto enthusiasts could share their common interest. They could share their experience, learn from one another and enhance their ownership experience. The Porsche Club of America maintains many vehicle registers, sometimes called 'Special Interest Groups'. Some of them are very new, some of them are very old. There's a... [Read More]

Attention Visitors . . .
Welcome to the New PCA Cayman Register. Membership to the Register is free to all PCA members, Cayman ownership is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. If you'd like to be considered for membership, please get your PCA card out and Proceed to Registration.
Please be patient. All membership requests are processed and validated manually by one of our volunteer administrators. We can typically complete this process within 24 hours, sometimes much faster.
A few members have asked if their PCA.org or old Cayman Register login credentials will work here. They will not. For 2010 we've decided to rebuild from the ground up. We hope you'll join us and bring in some enthusiasm.
If you're a member of the Porsche Club of America who finds the Cayman model interesting, we hope to see inside. If you own a Porsche and you're not a PCA member, what are you waiting for...? PCA membership offers so Many Benefits for the cost of one tank of fuel per year. Sign up here so you can join our community and start having fun.
Thanks for visiting,
The Cayman Register Team
